this nightwalker pushed night walking for tonight.
the night was significantly colder, but what can i do when winter is coming close?
and yeah it is true, my lazy ass has to move and move it i shall go.

the night view of this university by the river looks extra good.
i don’t even know why there are some lights at the back of the buildings, tokyo is one mega party of light pollution indeed.
is this because of the colder weather?
i really don’t know, but that soft light glow just looks perfect.
and the place is perfectly deserted, i’m pretty sure some of those buildings were dormitories.
those students must have thought how crazy i was to be walking outside by the river in this cold weather.

it was quite dark.
the moon was also but a crescent, i would have wanted to take a clearer picture of it.
but then found it impossible to take a great picture of the moon while still trying to have something in the foreground.
for better camera lenses i think it could work, but it doesn’t with my cellphone.
it still looks good though, don’t you think?

i walked on and on until i reached the alcohol section of a store.
not meaning to destroy my own reputation but alcohol can sometimes help with the cold.
it was very tempting, i was very much tempted to buy some.
and these are all whiskey and whisky.
(just a side note, there was one time in my life where i got curious what the real spelling of the alcoholic drink was.
apparently, the difference lies on where it was made: whiskey with an “e” came from ireland and the united states, and whisky without an “e” are those produced in scotland, canada, and/or japan.)

that was quite a long side note there, but whether having an “e” or none, i don’t mind it at all.

i ended up buying none of those: bought lemon sour concentrate instead.
added some ice and tonic water, then mixed in the concentrate: that made my night.
it was a friday night after all, aren’t fridays supposed to be fun?
back in the days when i regularly go to the office, friday nights meant dining out with friends.
now that i am constantly at home, i barely have the energy to go out for "fun".
i guess “fun” has also evolved.
“fun” means me time nowadays.
“fun” really evolves the more you get old.
oops, there goes the “prohibited” word.
i better end this now or i’ll end up spilling more beans.
