My Actifit Report Card: March 5 2022

Just before I start I would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land I stand, work, live and was doing my physical activity once again. And pay my respects to the Elders, past, present and future aboriginal and Torres straight islanders.

Another reminder is that I hope I can fix this issue quickly in the next couple of days. The distance shown on my actifit app is a lot less than the actual distance displayed on the GPS of apps such as Strava, Google map, and others, and also the official distance given by the local government. Well I probably did not set it up properly. I will work on that.

Yesterday I went for a walk while I could in the middle of this stormy season that we are having here on the coast.

I divided my session into 2 different sections:

1 - A walk with my wife. The walk was a little slow as she has a different pace than I have and she also can’t endure the full distance of my walking.

Then the first part we went towards Southport at Broadwater parklands.

It was a good 2km.

2 - Then she went home and I continued towards Labrador. Crossing the bridge dividing both suburbs

Speeding up a bit more I walked the way from the south part of Labrador

Along the beach. On a Saturday afternoon is always a little tricky to take photos as there are too many people outdoors exercising and I am not a fan of taking photos of everything and everyone.

the tide was very low that could be noticed by the mark of the water from hours ago very distant from where the water was at that moment of the pictures.

heading north towards Biggera Waters was pleasant but the area where Charies Seafood is located was incredibly busy with so many families enjoying the late Saturday afternoon. In front of the shop there is a pelican feeding time that families love to watch as the huge birds wait patiently for their meal.

A lot of picnic, sports and BBQ was happening at that time at the park.

After Labrador I continued to Biggera Waters and the area was a little quieter than Labrador and very enjoyable.

Heading towards Runaway Bay now and I could have continued all the way to the next suburb but with thar heat I prefer to return. It was around 6 pm and 31 degrees. The humidity again was insane.

That’s the last photo of the adventure from my return

At the end the walk was nearly around 8 km but I got 5km in the app.

That’s the strava register showing a bit more than 8km. This report was published via Actifit app (Android | iOS). Check out the original version here on actifit.io 05/03/2022 6111 Aerobics, Walking Height 183 cm Weight 66 kg Body Fat 18 % Waist cm Thighs cm Chest cm
