Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was a busy day at work, but outside we had a good surprise with the weather forecast being wrong again. It wasn’t supposed to snow any more but we did get an extra inch overnight and in the morning.

Again, it’s not much but enough to cover the whole ground again. And with the extreme temps on the way next week, it will not melt!

That’s also more than enough for Kaia to play and run around in the yard.

Except when the yard needs protection from the enemies, in this case the deer behind the fence. They were too fast to flee for a photo unfortunately.

The last few days, we managed to start our walk before nightfall, but not yesterday, we were back to a night walk to the forest.

With the snow, and at night, the forest is very quiet, and surprisingly bright. It’s very cool to walk the trails.

But every good thing must end at some point, so after one last loop in the neighborhood, we were on our way back home.

And what was Le Chat doing? Same as most days…

Better final step count thanks to a couple of meetings where I wasn’t stuck at my desk and could do my usual pacing. Probably Friday will be much smaller count though, but we’ll see how it goes.
