Hello everyone 👋,

Please give it up for Bob and yours truly on this fabulous Caturday 😹; I earlier christened it- Bob on the blockchain day😼. It’s the day to expect lots of kitties pictures strewn all over the chain😻.
It’s been another ordinary day stepping it out. As always am grateful for this day, as I always say, there are many who wanted to see it but didn’t, so we are definitely blessed💯. Thank you for stopping by and let’s quickly take a look at how my day has been including trending news from around the globe. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a stop at the mall for groceries. After a bit of walking and window shopping, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube.
I noticed some interesting soccer ⚽ matches going on too. The problem with the EPL is that they have two or three games going on concurrently😹.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, nothing’s changed in Gaza, the Israeli airstrikes are in full swing in various parts.
The death toll in the past 24 hours is 82 Palestinians dead😭. A desperate situation as they used bare hands to rescue the dead and injured. That 82 figure could be higher as most of the rubble in the Nusierat refugee camp hadn’t been moved🙀. More bodies suspected to be lying under that rubble
In the north of Gaza, three more children died of starvation and malnutrition at Al shifa hospital, bringing the total hunger deaths to 23 children.
The intense bombing has led to severe food and water shortages in the north.
Since Israel won’t let the aid trucks in, the EU says the open arms ship is docked at Larnaca port in Cyprus with 200 tonnes of aid. It’s said to set sail to Gaza this weekend.
It’s 390 km to Gaza but even if it arrives there, Gaza has no port to offload that aid😿. They will probably use smaller boats to get it off shore.
Speaking of Gaza and aid; president Biden was caught on a hot mic talking about needing to press Netanyahu on allowing aid into Gaza. He said he needed a ‘come to Jesus’ talk with Bibi over aid deliveries😹.
Lots of trucks full of much needed aid are stuck at the Rafa border, meanwhile people are starving, children dying of hunger and malnutrition🙀. Ironic.
Israel trending as the usual Tel Aviv protests continued this weekend. Families of Hamas captives want the govt to do more to secure safe release of their loved ones.
In London thousands of pro Palestinian protesters gathered and walked to the US embassy. They demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Finally, Anthony Joshua delivered the most powerful statement to the heavyweight division with a destructive second round knockout win over Francis Ngannou🙀. Congratulations 🎉 to Anthony. This all went down in Saudi Arabia last night.
