I built this lean to and sleeper wall during covid. To give a bit of privacy for my son and mates during lockdown, so they could play music and drink out the back in the shed without us having to see them from the house. Luckily, they did not have to use it that much as they all had essential jobs and could still get out and about.
After covid, I used it as a bit of a work bench and gardening area.
It was all slapped together pretty fast with whatever we had lying around or leftovers from job sites.
The time has come now. I either have to fix it properly or get rid of it. As it has a solid roof, it really should have council approval, and there is a fair bit of rust and rot, so I have decided it has to go.
It was almost fun demolishing it.
The sleeper were pretty heavy over 30kg each, so 10 in the trailer plus a bit of other old timbers was well under the maximum load of 750kg of the trailer.
I don’t like loading the trailer right up either as it is getting pretty old now, too
I had some climbing grip holders on the wall, and I was able to get them off and save them if we can find another spot to use them.
The wall all gone and to the dump. I will the roof another day. This report was published via Actifit app (Android | iOS). Check out the original version here on actifit.io
