To Failure - My Actifit Report Card: March 12 2025

I was able to escape to an early workout at the gym this morning. After a quick warmup on the treadmill, I pushed for some heavy lifting as I incorporated some sets to failure for the first time. I was surprised how relatively light the weights were for me to get to failure which signals to me that I have a ways to go on strength training but I think it makes sense. I know that consistency is key and it has not been there for years.

I went about the rest of the busy day with that on my mind which was somewhat disappointing. I remained active throughout the day and got an invite again for some pickleball which I accepted for a night again. It got my cardio up again which was good for calories but need to see if it will impact the rest of my week. I am hoping for a strong finish next week for my race so I am still feeling confident.
