Am Montag war es wirklich so leer dass man nirgendwo hin kam. Zum Glück fuhren Busse und U-Bahn noch.

On Monday it was really so empty that you couldn’t get anywhere. Fortunately, buses and subway were still running.

Zum Glück läuft jetzt alles wieder normal.

Fortunately everything is now running normally again

Ich bin viel gelaufen (17000 Schritt) und das lag natürlich auch an den Streik.

I walked a lot (17000 steps) and that was of course also due to the strike.
