Hey Actifitters,

Another typical workday yesterday. But it was hot again and I couldn’t get up early enough to go for a walk with Kaia before it got too hot. We did spend a few short breaks in the yard though and I noticed something changed. A big pathway has been cleared in the forest behind my fence.

It used to be a street many years ago, even before I bought the house. There are still signs of it, including this old fire hydrant. Maybe the City will rebuild another street.

Later in the afternoon, it was still hot, but we went for our long walk anyways. With dusk getting closer, wildlife was starting to show up.

Before going to the forest, we went to chase the sunset first.

I found some cool angles through the trees.

To the forest next! With more wildlife on the way.

Kaia was so hot she just looked at it and didn’t try anything. Pretty sure that if she could talk, she’d have said something along these lines:"screw it, it’s too hot, let’s just go to the forest…". And that’s what we did!

Every time I stopped for pictures or whatnot, Kaia was quickly laying down. Very unusual for her. I got the message and we didn’t stay as long as planned.
