I played a practice round out at a difficult disc golf course. It was very wet and muddy. The weather was nice and it wasn’t raining but my score was a +20. With the slippery conditions, this wasn’t too bad of a score, but I’m used to doing better.
Doggie managed to find a lot of puddles and streams to wade in today:
By the time we got home, he was in need of a bath big time. He had a lot of fun.
The infamous hole six as it looked like today from close by the tee pad:
I didn’t bother to play this hole and just double bogeyed it out. There was a giant lake down where I tended to throw my first drive, and the mud was looking just awful. This is an easy hole to lose a disc on with the trees catching them, and the pond was just deep enough today to hide them. I once lost a disc here when conditions were much better, even when a spotter was watching the throw from down below the tee pad.
