I did some blackberry picking and got eight cups of berries for some more canning. We got just a bit over three pints of jam from them. Maybe next weekend we will can another three to six jars. They are producing well this year.

My son, his friend and I played a round of eighteen hole disc golf at our favorite course. I made the mistake of using my favorite Champion Tern disc on a really difficult hole. I usually throw a very overstable disc like the Boss or World here but I wanted to try to get some extra distance.

The wind was nice and the throw went long enough, it just didn’t fade back as much as was needed and it went into the rough on the edge of the fairway. I thought we would easily find it there but the three of us looked for it but could not find it.

I’m pretty sure someone will find it at some point. It does have my name on it so there is a good chance I’ll get it back.

In the meantime I guess I’ll start throwing Shryke discs as my main driver again. My other two Tern discs are a bit too understable to throw really hard consistantly.
