Today YouTube showed me a video of Paul McCartney singing a 3 song medley from the Saturday Night Live 50 year anniversary special. Paul looks and sounds pretty good! I had to look it up and Google says he is 82 now.

Sir Paul played piano during the first 2 songs. His voice was a little strained but that’s perfectly fine in Rock n Roll. Then he strapped on a guitar and rocked out to finish the medley. Paul mostly played bass in the time of The Beatles but I know he plays several other instruments as well.

I haven’t seen anything else from SNL50 but I would like to see the B-52s performance. Maybe YouTube will recommend that for me tomorrow. Did you see any of the SNL50 Special?

My Activity

today was not much during the day. I did get up to move around several times and I did some chores around the house.

At night I went out in 38 degree Fahrenheit temps with the ski jacket zipped up to my chin with a hat and hoodie on my head. I took a decent length walk. I also climbed 34 steps along the way.

Again I did not see the moon but we all know it is up there because we’ve seen it before with our own 2 eyes. That’s one of many universal human experiences. We all have a lot more in common than we think. We all live on this one Earth and share our lives here. We all look up at that one shared moon. It is amazing that at one level the Earth seems so big, but from the moon it looks so small.
