The last 48 haours have been a nightmare, having to be without electricity for over 48 hours have had my my routine disrupted.
The on going load shedding have been manageable, I just get my stuff done on time and have my devices charged to last the duration of the power cut.

Yesterday a truck drove past our street not just another truck but a City Power truck and bumped the overhead power line. Apparently they notice it but drove off, this snapped our power supply line as seen in the pictures.

Calls have been made to get this fixed but seeing we are the only house affected in the street, the likelihood of us getting quick attention is slim.

Its been a nightmare for me with my Hive related activities disrupted. I have to visit a family friend’s office for electricity and get some posting done. I really hope staying without electricity in winter doesn’t extend beyond 2 days.
