I did some walking today and thought about doing some yard work, but it was raining just enough to talk me out of it, lol. Unless it is really raining hard tomorrow, I’m going to get a few more of the blackberry bushes removed.

I rested a lot today and have been very gently moving my arm around to hopefully get the shoulder working better.

I’ve been doing a bit of reading and studying the Lotus Sutra. It seems to me that the parable of the burning house reminds me a lot of our present situation. In the parable, the kids are too busy playing with their toys to wake up to the fact that the house is burning down.

It seems to me that we are all too busy with toys and distractions to wake up to the fact that the earth needs some tender loving care right now. It might be fun to rewrite the parable with some more modern distractions and toys like smartphones and Teslas instead of ox carts. 🐂 😄
