A very wet day indeed. It rained for the whole of my work shift. It rained when I left to go home. It was still raining when I left my daughters place mid evening!

There must be serious floods somewhere! I had to negotiate a large flood on one side of the road in the dark.

I still think that we will get a long dry spell in the spring though. Probably in April when it can get quite warm, too, if the weather is right.

Work was thin to go round again. Just one long haul (see picture), then we waited for a late short haul Enter Air flight. This one just needed a few provisions in boxes. We were told that they might require us to remove some carts. We were also instructed to take some dry-ice! This is a strange request so I wasn’t surprised when the crew said no! 🤣. We use dry-ice on some flights especially in the summer months to keep water- ice from melting too much. It is also used to pack some food carts too.

After taking off 5 carts and handing over the boxes they were happy, so we descended and headed back for lunch.

Another day, and another shift done for me!
