I played a practice round of disc golf at the local easy course by the river. I scored a +5 on the eighteen-hole course. A good score for me on the course is usually around even or under par.
It was a bit rainy and everything was wet. Grip on the disc, and wet tee pads do make a difference. Still, though, I would have liked to score a bit better considering all the practice on putting that I have done recently. I think that at some point, this practice may start paying off.
My friends and I are playing together tomorrow. I think that I score a bit better when I play with other people. Previously, I wound not have said this. It is interesting to me how things like this can change.
When I play by myself, I often don’t take the easiest throw with a disc that I feel the most confident in. I like to try out the more difficult throws to see if I can still make the play. I think the best time to try things that you’re not that confident in is when you’re playing on your own.
